Spooky collapsable Halloween mansion to cut and score with a craft cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette. Technically it is not a pop-up since it is in 2 pieces and needs a little extra care when opening and closing. It folds flat to 18 3/4" x 10 1/4" for storing, which is great if you want elaborate Halloween decorations, but don't have space to keep them the rest of the year. Also, you can send it to a loved one sandwiched between 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard. Printable sheet with instructions for opening and closing is included.

When open, house sits on an 8" square base and stands 13 1/2" high to top of weathervane. Holes in the base allow for placing over 1, 2 or 3 flameless tea lights.

Files include 4 different textures, each with 2 darkness options, for printing on cardstock. Textures include: chipped paint wood siding, roof tiles, stone ground, and wood porch floor. Detailed instructions with photos included. There are endless possibilities for using different colors.

There are some tricky areas to assemble, so this is a somewhat advanced project.

2 sheets 8 1/2" x 11" mirror adhesive vinyl (optional)**
1/2" wide cuttable magnetic adhesive strip 4" long (optional)***

* I used 65 lb / 176 g/m2 (Recollections) cardstock, but the project might benefit from a heavier cardstock.
** The mirror vinyl is used inside the house to reflect light from the flameless tealights. It's especially helpful if you are using dark cardstock.
*** The magnets help hold the house in place when in use so you don't need to keep adjusting. (I like ProMAG because they are thin.)
