Beautiful, easy DIY Christmas card to hand cut or to cut with a craft cutting machine like Cricut or Silhouette. The front cutout looks great with a glitter or foil cardstock backing. You can change the look by using different paper. You can make the glitter a border (as in the photo) or draw a border with a metallic pen, or make a score line border for a subtle effect. The text inside the card reads "May your days be merry and bright!" which you can either print or use the draw function on your machine (or eliminate it and write your own message). Finished card measures 5 1/4" x 8". (Envelope not included.)
SUPPLIES FOR 2 CARDS:
3 sheets 8 1/2” x 11”white or off-white cardstock:
1 sheet 8 1/2" by 11" red glitter cardstock
Small scrap of gold foil cardstock
Metallic gold pen
Glue
It's best if your machine can also score.
